Background & Challenges:

Sydenham is a specialist Science & Maths school for girls in south-east London, the first school to be awarded a specialism of any sort in the local area. Their existing web presence didn’t reflect these new specialisms or the forward-thinking nature of the school.

Solutions & Benefits:

School Website worked with the school to create a clean, modern design that reflected the school colours and the contemporary nature of the Science and Maths specialisms. The navigation is intuitive and straightforward, separating information for different potential audiences. Recent news articles are prominently displayed next to the main homepage image which also contains an RSS feed for visitors to subscribe to. A few unique features of the site include the pop-up school video and an integrated London Transport journey planner which has the school as a default starting location.
